Cancel

Cancel is both an order status, meaning the order was stopped and its full charge returned to your balance, and the request a buyer sends to stop an order early.

As a status, cancelled usually means nothing was delivered and the whole charge went back to your panel balance. Common causes are a link that is private, deleted or in the wrong format for the service, a service that stopped working upstream, or a supplier rejecting the order for its own reasons. Some panels spell it canceled, with one l, and it is the same status.

As an action, cancel is a request, not a switch. On an order forwarded through an API, the panel has to pass your request to its provider, which may pass it on again, and the supplier holding the order decides. Some services do not accept cancel requests at all, and those that do often accept them only before delivery starts. While the request travels up the chain, the order can keep delivering, and whatever is delivered is charged.

The practical rule: do not place a replacement order until the original actually shows cancelled. If you order the same thing elsewhere while the cancel request is still open, and the supplier refuses it, you pay for both and the profile receives both.

What it does not mean

A cancelled order does not send money back to your card or wallet. The refund lands in your panel balance, and withdrawing it is a separate matter governed by the terms of service. Cancelling also does not undo engagement that was already delivered.
