Maximum

Maximum is the largest quantity a service accepts in a single order, reflecting what the supplier is prepared to deliver on that service to one link at a time.

Needing more than the maximum is not solved by stacking orders. On many panels a new order is refused on a link that already has an active order, so the second order has to wait until the first is closed. Placing the second one on another panel avoids that check, but the deliveries can overlap in ways that make both start counts wrong and any shortfall impossible to prove.

There is also a limit the listing does not always show. A supplier delivering followers has a finite pool of accounts, and each account can follow a given profile only once. After one or more large orders on the same link, the supplier may run short of accounts that have not already engaged with it, and later orders go partial however high the maximum reads. Some descriptions state this as a limit per link; many do not.

When you do need a large total, place several orders one after another, or use drip feed within the maximum, so each order keeps a clean start count. Keep a note of each order's quantity and start count, because a refill or partial dispute is argued one order at a time.

What it does not mean

Maximum is not a promise that the supplier can deliver that much. It is the upper limit the order form accepts, and an order placed at the maximum can still end partial.
