Custom comments

Custom comments is a service type where you supply the exact text of each comment, one per line, and the panel's supplier posts those comments on the link you give.

The order form for custom comments has a text box in place of a quantity field. Each line becomes one comment and the quantity is the number of lines, so the charge is set by how many lines you paste. Blank lines, duplicate lines and long lines that wrap can all change the count, depending on how the panel reads the box. Emoji and non-Latin characters may not survive the trip, since every panel in the chain has to pass the text on unchanged.

The text is the part you control, and it is the part readers judge. Identical, generic or off-topic comments from a row of different accounts look planted to anyone reading the post. Write varied lines that fit the content. The service description decides the rest: what kind of accounts post, whether comments arrive together or spaced out, and whether removed comments are replaced.

Custom comments are also where delivery disputes are hardest to settle. A refill check on followers compares one number. For comments, someone has to compare which of your lines are still visible, and some services exclude deleted or hidden comments from refill altogether. Some suppliers skip lines containing links, mentions or words that trip their filters, then report the order as partial. Keep a copy of your list so you can compare it with what actually appears.

What it does not mean

Custom does not mean the accounts are chosen for your audience or that real people wrote anything. It refers only to the text. The accounts posting it are whatever the supplier uses for that service.
